We investigate numerically high speed granular flows down an incline and focus our attention on the influence of restitution coefficient e binary collisions nature flow regimes. show in particular that plays a major role rapid flows. Decreasing leads general to denser but also quicker The increase mean velocity with decreasing is explained as result clustering instability which produces dense cold core moving very fast plug.
